Department of State Public Affairs Officer Conference
Bob Sitrick was Executive Producer for this three-day conference at the State Department Headquarters in Washington, DC. He oversaw production of several videos that played during the conference, managed on-site Audio Visual, Directed the live presentations, and managed on-site video crews.
NAB Content Theater
Bob Sitrick served as Executive Producer of the 325 seat Content Theater for the 2009 NAB Show in Las Vegas. In that capacity he created the schedule, acquired all content and panelists, as well as overseeing all technical aspects of the theater during the convention. A total of 22 sessions were organized over the 4 days of the NAB Show. They included the latest offerings in the world of 3D, VFX & Animation, as well as Broadband, Mobile, and new ventures in content. These sessions also showcased the newest technologies and innovative approaches in Broadcasting and Cable Production.
Discovery Upfront
Over 9 months in planning each year led to the biggest and boldest of Discovery’s annual presentations – the Upfront. Presentations were made in six major market cities over a period of 5 weeks. Shark Week Event
The 20th Anniversary of Shark week was marked with a huge party and screening of the week’s highlights. The event was held at New York’s Pier 60 and featured a gangplank with sharks swimming underneath (on plasma screens) live sharks in a tank behind the bar, a mosaic of period TV’s with representative Shark Week footage...
Atlas
To celebrate the long heralded debut of the Atlas series, Discovery undertook a series of massive screenings and parties around the country. These included the Arc Light Theater in LA and the historic AFI theater in Silver Spring, with a multi-country decor party at Discovery Headquarters...
Planet Earth
The debut of this groundbreaking series was kicked off with parties and screenings in New York’s Museum of Natural History and for the Nature Conservancy in LA. At the NY event, a theater was constructed on the Hall of Oceans floor beneath the giant whale. Additional media was created for off-size plasma screens flanking the room.
