Bob Sitrick represented Animal Planet on the expedition to film the Pandas at their home in Sichuan, China as they were prepared to travel aboard a Fed Ex plane to the National Zoo in Washington, DC. While on site, Bob sent back daily reports from the Chief Veterinarian as well as photo-journalism for the Animal Planet Website.

 

When they departed for America, Bob got the shot of the plane taking off and then flew to Hong Kong with that tape as well as field tapes from the Zoo in China, and quickly edited and fed a Video News Release which aired on most broadcast network news programs the same day they landed.
