Bob Sitrick Productions Produced and Directed this live 2-hour special. From their studios in Maryland, BSP controlled the switched feed on-board the R/V Western Flyer off the coast of California at the Sur Ridge Underwater Oasis and Produced the program using vMix software. BSP and partner BC Live Productions set up robotic cameras on-board the ship and handled switching between live feeds from the ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) and the Control Room for interviews with Scientists and Pilots. BSP also set up cameras on-shore at MBARI which was the host location and rolled in videos and B-Roll from a separate studio in Boston. The program was streamed live and simulcast on Facebook and YouTube. It employed a sign-language interpreter and was simultaneously translated into multiple languages using Wordly technology.
